Blog 1 - Place i would like to visit - Barcelona

Hello classmates, this is my first time in the blog, I am really excited to write an entry about the place I would like visiting in the future, and this place is exactly Barcelona in Spain. I never interest to me travel to Europe before studying architecture but after i have another vision to see the things, now it’s more attractive to visit overall its buildings and the history behind, I hope you enjoy it.

Barcelona (La Sagrada familia)

As a student of architecture the most important to visit in Spain is this structure, because is more emblematic than other buildings, in the other words one the things what represents Barcelona is the La Sagrada Familia, also is created by the architect Antoni Gaudí the greatest exponent of catalan modernism.

Barrio Gótico

The Barrio Gótico or Gothic Quarter in English, is the place more historic of Barcelona because was the center of city and is the most ancient place.

Some places to visit are:

The Roman and Medieval walls

Basilica of La Mercè

Church of Santa Maria del Pi

And if you visited all this places in Barcelona, there are still the beaches to relax, hearing the waves and have a nice day under the sun taking a drink. Or go to watch a football game in the stadium camp nou of Barcelona Football Club

Other choice is take the train to others country’s around Spain, like France, Italy, Germany, Belgium and Netherlands, expanding our options to visit
